The continuing civil war in Colombia gets some attention from time-to-time here in the U.S. Between the drug traffickers, the "left-wing" and "right-wing" guerillas and death squads, and a government that veers from repression to corruption and incompetence, it must be really tough to survive amidst such violence and chaos.
